The Air Jordan 1 Low 'Shattered Backboard' pays tribute to the momentous event of Michael Jordan shattering a backboard while playing in an exhibition game in Italy in 1985. This low-top iteration draws inspiration from the original AJ1 and is rendered in a Starfish, black and Sail colorway, which is a reference to the jersey worn by MJ at the time. It features a leather upper, with the iconic Jumpman emblem on the tongue and the classic Wings logo stitched onto the heel. The shoe is completed with an encapsulated Air-Sole unit and a rubber outsole that incorporates a pivot point tread pattern.
