The Nike Dunk Low SB 'Sandy Bodecker' showcases a distinctive design that draws inspiration from the exclusive Charity Dunk, a one-of-a-kind creation from 2003. This low-top sneaker features a patent leather upper adorned in the iconic colors of eBay, the popular online marketplace where the shoe was auctioned for charity, benefiting skateparks in the Portland area. The identity of the mystery winner remained a secret for years until it was finally revealed to be Sandy Bodecker, widely regarded as the influential figure in Nike Skateboarding. To maintain the exclusivity of the shoe, Nike destroyed the original sample pair, a concept recreated here through the use of translucent chopped-up windows. Inside the shoe, custom photograph insoles designed by James Arizumi proudly showcase images that pay homage to Sandy Bodecker's enduring legacy.
